Personal Statement
My skills and experience span media, and my interests lie particularly in that emerging space between film, advertising and the web. With my studies in Communications, with a focus on film production, and in International Studies, and with my role helping to run a web development team for the past year and a half, I've a broad range of experiences to draw on in the global cross-media space. I am especially interested in the storytelling possibilities in this space, and in how to apply those to the development of a brand or image.
I excel when working closely with the teams, be they creative or technical, realising a project. Ideally I work from the initial scoping phases through to delivery and subsequent follow-up. My understanding of the creative and technical processes involved in the project allows me to develop a deep knowledge of its requirements, of the client and of the end-user or target market and their relevant needs, and of the project teams as they track through production.
